Full & Half Race Detail

 

Race Date:  Sunday, May 20, 2018

Start Time:  Full: 8:00 a.m.     Half: 9:00 a.m.

 
Start Location: Full: Bennington, Vt. at the Bennington College, VAPA Building.  Half-Marathon: Federated Church in Arlington. 

Finish Location: Full & Half: Manchester, VT at Hunter Park

Parking Available: Full & Half: Long term parking ONLY at the finish. 

Short term parking for drop off will be at the starting lines of the races.

Shuttle Bus to Start: Full: There will be a bus departing from Hunter Park at 6:30 a.m. sharp  (40 minutes travel time).

Half: There will be a bus departing from Hunter Park promptly at 7:45am (20 min travel time)

 

There will be no end of race shuttle to the start.  Please park at the race finish and take the shuttle to the race start in the morning.

Packet Pick-up: Full & Half: Federated Church in East Arlington (marathon midpoint and half marathon start location) Saturday, May 19 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Full: 6:30am-7:30am Sunday morning at VAPA Building at Bennington College.

Half: 7:30am- 8:30am Sunday morning at The Federated Curch in East Arlington

T-Shirts: Full & Half: Complimentary shirts distributed at Packet Pick-up 
 

Finisher's Medals: Full & Half: Hand crafted by the 8th grade class at the Mountain School at Winhall.
 

Baggage Check: Full & Half: Available at Start.

Timing: By Underdog Race Timing

Time Limit: Full: 6 hours 30 minutes.  Half: 3 hours

Awards Ceremony: Approximately 11:00 am. 1st place awards to top Male and Female finishers and eight age groups (16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).

Pre Race Dinner: A pre-race dinner will be available at​ Federated Church in East Arlington on Saturday, May 19 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Enjoy pasta, sauce, meatballs, and brownies with fellow runners.  A $10 suggested donation goes to support the church and their community programs. Reservations available with race registration.
